Luca Marin

Luca Marin

“Light gives every object a moment, a temperature, and a place within time.”

Luca Marin is an Italian contemporary painter whose work explores expressive color, organic form, natural texture, architectural shadow, and Mediterranean light.
Raised near the Adriatic coast, Marin was influenced by whitewashed walls, stone houses, olive groves, citrus gardens, blue windows, arched passages, and the moving shadows of leaves and shutters.
His paintings move between expressive abstraction, organic abstraction, and light-filled observation. Broad brushwork, layered color, mineral textures, floral fragments, sunlight, and architectural shadows allow his work to suggest gardens, weather, interiors, and coastal life without becoming overly literal.
For Marin, color, texture, and light are not decorative details. They are ways of expressing time, atmosphere, and emotional memory.
