A graceful woman shares a quiet cocktail moment with a watchful black cat, set against a soft green backdrop. Expressive brushwork, playful polka dots, and warm vintage tones create a charming modern folk portrait filled with intimacy, confidence, and effortless evening elegance.
Every artwork is created with careful attention to texture, brushwork, and color balance.
The natural variations of hand-painted oil techniques create depth and character that cannot be reproduced by printed artwork.
From visible brushstrokes to layered oil textures, each detail reflects the artist’s creative process.
Every MavrenArt painting is individually hand-painted by artists on professional-grade canvas using quality oil paints.
We do not use printing, digital reproduction, or mass-production techniques.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 9 reviews.
I love the fun art deco vibe with the lady and black cat. The thick textured paint gives it real vintage painting character, it looks so much better in person than online.
It works wonderfully above my dining sideboard. The muted teal‑green tones complement my dark wooden furniture perfectly, it becomes a great conversation piece for dinner parties.
This has so much personality, and the teal looks beautiful in daylight. Love it.
Such a charming piece. The woman, the martini, and the black cat make me smile.
Fun, a little cheeky, and perfect over my apartment sofa. I love it.
Hanging over my cream sofa, this piece shines beautifully under warm floor lamp lighting. The brushstroke details really stand out and bring the whole living room together.
Very well‑made canvas, carefully packaged for shipping. The only small thing is that colors appear richer under warm indoor lights compared to bright daylight.
Such a lovely eye‑catching artwork.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Meet the Artist
Ella Collins
“Folk art allows ordinary life to become more playful, generous, and alive.”
Ella Collins is an American painter whose modern folk compositions celebrate shared meals, friendship, animals, travel, sport, family rituals, and the humor of everyday life.
Raised in North Carolina, she was influenced by handmade objects, family photographs, quilts, painted furniture, children’s books, and stories passed between generations. These references appear in her flattened spaces, simplified figures, decorative patterns, and warm irregular lines.
Her subjects include gatherings, animals at play, families traveling with dogs, horse races, equestrian clubs, coastal journeys, gardens, and imagined landscapes. Collins treats people, animals, and places as participants in the same narrative world.
