Sage Gallop captures a spirited dappled horse in motion against a muted sage backdrop, accented with blue-and-ochre tack and playful tassel details. Framed by a bold checker border, the piece blends folk-art charm with a Western sensibility, bringing rhythm, elegance, and a lively decorative presence to any interior.
Every artwork is created with careful attention to texture, brushwork, and color balance.
The natural variations of hand-painted oil techniques create depth and character that cannot be reproduced by printed artwork.
From visible brushstrokes to layered oil textures, each detail reflects the artist’s creative process.
Every MavrenArt painting is individually hand-painted by artists on professional-grade canvas using quality oil paints.
We do not use printing, digital reproduction, or mass-production techniques.

The warm lamp light brings out all the little brown and cream details. It feels like it has always belonged in our entryway. Absolutely love it.
Really happy with this one. It feels vintage without looking old-fashioned, and the horse has much more texture up close. It finished the reading corner perfectly.
I put this on a hallway wall and it instantly gave the space some character. The checked edge is such a nice detail, and the horse looks great from every angle.
Exactly the right scale for above our sofa. The green is softer than it looked online and works beautifully with the wood furniture. Five easy stars.
The horse has so much movement. I love that the border makes it feel a bit like an old textile or hand-painted sign. It gives the whole room character.
Our dining room is a little dated, and I did not want to replace every piece of furniture just to make it feel current. This painting did more than I expected. The sage tones calm down the darker wood, while the movement of the horse keeps the room from feeling stuffy. It looks lovely from the kitchen doorway, even with a coffee mug and newspaper left on the table. That everyday view is honestly what sold me on it.
